I was listening to CBC Radio interview John (his name) and now
the Alberta Government has delisted gender reassignment
surgery. He needs to come up with $80,000 to complete the
process. Currently, all ID is in his female name which is
presenting problems. Birth certificates, driver's license,
passport are not issued in the new name until all the surgery
has been completed
