i'd take that - with the intermediate classes at such high numbers
in some schools (ours has 34 minimum in the four classes) it would
be great to get some additional prep time - it's tough not feeling
like it's a little unfair when our primary teachers get the same
amount of prep with 17 - 19 kids to plan and assess as us with 34-
36 that write a whole lot more (more to comment on and more "look
fors") - i know there's more to prep than evaluating, but it takes
so much time to get through a class set of anything
effectively...by the time they get to late junior/early
intermediate, their resource time and ea support get dropped
significantly if not all together - i have 34 kids with 11 ieps and
receive two resource classes a week - no withdrawal except 2 kids
get some hub time...i really feel someone needs to start advocating
for our intermediate kids/teachers...i hope this doesn't sound like
primary teacher bashing, but i wonder how many really know how
insane it is becoming
