Ms. Manji is better known for her commentaries on conservative
islamic practices. I've only heard her comment on that when she
appears on TVO and CNN. She is to-the-point, modern, intelligent.
There is much pressure, coersion, and intimidation of young
moslem women on campuses to act in certain ways consistent with
very conservative islamic practices. Ms Manji describes these
practices and debunks much of what many so-called progressive non-
muslims think is religious tolerance.
